The Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the College of Language Sciences is pleased to announce the launch of the Dean’s Award for Scientific Research, in recognition of research excellence and to encourage high-quality academic output that enriches knowledge and supports innovation in the fields of languages and linguistics.

Award Definition

An annual award granted to outstanding faculty members of the College (and equivalent positions), with the aim of motivating creativity, fostering scientific competition, and enhancing the reputation of rigorous research that supports the priorities of the College and the University.

Objectives

·  Promoting a culture of distinguished scientific research among faculty members.

·   Encouraging high-quality scholarly publishing in reputable outlets.

·   Recognizing and honoring distinguished researchers and highlighting their achievements.

·   Developing research skills and capabilities in line with international standards.

Target Group

Faculty members (male and female) of the College of Language Sciences at King Saud University, and those of equivalent rank, according to university regulations.
