About the Department:

Through its programs, the department aims to qualify and train professional teachers of the Arabic language for non-native speakers, and to develop their theoretical, practical and research experiences.The department focuses on conducting research in the fields of Applied Linguistics, with special attention to methods and methods of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, preparing its teachers, materials and teaching techniques, in addition to introducing learners to the nature of second language acquisition, the foundations of setting language tests, learning about language learning strategies, and psychological principles related to learning and teaching languages.
