Skills Development Unit
Description:
This unit is responsible for developing the skills of college employees by identifying their training needs in accordance with the college and university's objectives, participating in organizing training programs, following up on their implementation, and evaluating their effectiveness.
Objectives:
Improving the efficiency of the college staff and developing their skills and abilities, including those of faculty members, employees, and students.
Supporting the college staff by providing training opportunities and facilitating access.
Increasing the involvement of college employees in training courses.
Activating the participation of distinguished faculty members in the training process.
Stimulating the college employees' creative work and professional achievement to achieve academic, research, and administrative excellence
Studying the necessary future strategies in cooperation with the Deanship of Skills Development to raise the skills of the college employees to achieve excellence and creativity in university education, learning, scientific research, and leadership.
Tasks:
Identifying training needs and proposing the necessary programs to develop the skills of the college employees.
Coordinating with the Unit's partners in the Deanship of Skills Development, the Deanship of E-Learning, and others to implement training programs.
Organizing lectures and workshops internally in the college in cooperation with the departments and supporting units.
Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of training programs.
Evaluating the participation of college employees in the unit's activities and assessing the effectiveness of training programs.
Urging the college staff to attend courses, training programs, and workshops.
Preparing an annual report on the activities of the unit.
Contributing to attracting the best trainers inside and outside the university to provide specialized courses.
