Alumni Unit

Description:

The College's Alumni Unit was established because of the alumni's leading role in building society and shaping the future of this generous nation. In addition to enhancing the spirit of belonging and communication between them and their college, it activates the college's partnership with the economic and social environment. Graduates are honorable models and national cadres who have contributed and continue to contribute to building and developing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and are vital component to providing the job market with distinguished human resources.

This program will provide graduates of the College of Language Sciences with several job opportunities in the public and private sectors. It will also enable them to attend various events inside the college and university corridors, such as Career Day, and distinguishably partner with college graduates.

Objectives:

The graduate program in the College of Languages and Sciences aims to:

  1. Enhancing communication and strengthening relationships with graduates.

  2. Mentoring graduates and directing them to available job opportunities.

  3. Building a database, care for graduates, and communicate with them wherever they are.

  4. Facilitating communication between graduates.

  5. Building a genuine partnership between the college and its graduates to achieve its future vision.

  6. Surveying of alumni and employers' views on the job market and its needs.

  7. Communicating with government institutions and private companies to study the needs of the job market.

  8. Organizing a career day and inviting important personalities and distinguished graduates to lecture on their job experiences.

Tasks:

  • Facilitating communication with the employers of the graduates by posting the data of those who wish to graduate on the College's website and social media accounts.

  • Assisting graduates in preparing them for the labor market in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs through its courses and programs.

  • Inviting government institutions and private companies to participate and offer jobs on Career Day.

  • Nominating distinguished graduates to employers wishing to hire graduates.
