Community Service Unit
Description:
The unit is interested in building bridges of cooperation between the college and the community by promoting community partnership initiatives with various public and private sectors, in which the college's employees and students volunteer to provide their services to the community to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030.
Objectives:
Building awareness of the importance of community partnership and community service and its fields among the college staff and student.
Strengthening community partnerships with various community actors and individuals.
Developing social responsibility and community affiliation among the college staff and students.
Supporting and developing voluntary initiatives for the college staff and students.
Appreciating the practical contributions of the college staff and students in community service.
Developing students' skills in communicating with the external community and creating opportunities for them to practice their academic experiences before graduation.
Encouraging community participation of faculty members.
Tasks:
Spreading the culture of volunteering among the college employees and students through various means of communication.
Encouraging the college staff and students to provide and activate voluntary initiatives.
Building an integrated volunteer team of college students.
Holding community partnerships with government and private entities.
Participating in voluntary initiatives inside and outside the university.
Communicating with different community actors to design voluntary initiatives.
Surveying of community institutions.
