Japanese Language Program Goals:

  1. Prepare specialized professionals in Japanese language and translation, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to meet job market requirements and contribute to development.

  2. Expand the cultural horizons of graduates by introducing them to Japanese culture and civilization, which differs from European and American cultures. 

  3. Deepen the culture of accepting cultural diversity as a means of change and a mechanism for development. 

  4. Strengthen graduates' national identity to enable them to engage in cross-cultural dialogue. 

  5. Prepare specialized graduates to pursue higher studies and conduct scientific research in various fields of knowledge. 

  6. Encourage scientific research in the field of specialization to positively reflect on students, open new knowledge horizons, improve their intellectual and cultural skills, and raise community awareness. 

  7. Build local and global research and community partnerships. 

  8. Train students in translation work and enrich the translation movement to and from the Japanese language. 

  9. Seek opportunities for students to gain work experience during and after their studies. 

  10. Enhance community service participation through written and oral translation and provide expertise and consultation in the field of specialization.
