Development and Quality Unit

Description:

It is one of the units affiliated with the Vice Deanship for Development and Quality. It is concerned with establishing a culture of quality and evaluating the level of performance. It works on the implementation of evaluation and academic accreditation and follows up on obtaining it. Furthermore, it works on developing the strategic plans of the college and following up on their implementation, collecting data and information on an ongoing basis and documenting the efforts made by the college in the field of quality and academic accreditation and their results. It also prepares reports on the levels of performance and the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the various activities.


Objectives:

·         Establishing an internal quality assurance system in the college.

·         Spreading the culture of quality in the college and contributing to its implementation.

·         Continuous evaluation of performance and follow-up on quality improvement processes.

·         Qualifying the college programs to obtain national and international accreditation.

Tasks:

·          Enriching the culture of quality in the college, its departments, and units.

·         Strengthening the level of performance in the college.

·         Following up the academic evaluation and accreditation processes.

·          Developing strategic plans for the college and following up on their implementation.

·          Identifying potential areas for improvement and proposing projects to achieve them.

·          Suggesting the formation of task forces in the projects proposed by the unit.
